Burnley General Hospital, part of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, provides a full range of hospital services. The new Urgent Care Centre is for the treatment of illnesses and injuries which are not life threatening but do need treating quickly. The first floor houses the Rainbows Centre which looks after children with a range of complex needs and disabilities.
