Solow XLED luminaires with Smart controls were installed in the main warehouse area. The Solow XLED exemplifies the supreme efficiency that is expected of Thorlux luminaires providing up to 37,820 lumens and an efficiency of up to 165 luminaire lumens per circuit watt. Extremely long life extends maintenance intervals and a low profile design coupled with in-built installation points allows for fast installation.

Smart versions have a unique sensor that can be optimised for use up to 18m, maintaining excellent occupancy detection.

Each luminaire measures and adjusts independently according to the ambient light in its immediate surroundings. This provides good uniformity across the working plane and maximises energy savings where the natural daylight ingress is varied across the area. In the event of excess natural light for more than 10 minutes, the individual Smart luminaire will turn off, saving further energy and prolonging lamp life.
