Thorlux Designs Illumination for The Rolls-Royce Battle of Britain Memorial Window

Thorlux is proud to have designed the illumination system for the Rolls-Royce Battle of Britain Memorial Window at its Learning and Development Centre in Derby. Certainly not our usual kind of project, the window totals 6.5 metres in height, 4.5 metres wide and is illuminated with 5184 individual LEDs, which are controlled from a Thorlux Smart scene setting system. The power supplies are remotely mounted and the LED circuits can be easily serviced using a sophisticated, sliding carriage mechanism. The Very Reverend Dr. John Davis, Dean of Derby, led the service of re-dedication on the 31st October 2015.
